A Picture at the End

We’re sitting here at the very end of the university term, getting ready to rest for a little while. It’s been a long, exhausting, ultimately fulfilling and amazing year with Canvas. We’ve been absolutely astounded by what our eyes have seen, the stories that we’ve heard and have been a part of and the many (and I mean many) blessings that God has given us.

Our team is a ridiculously amazing group of people. The exchange students were incredible, always giving and caring a loving without condition and willing to meet people where they are. We are confident that they have made some lifelong friends during their stay in England.

And the same is true of our interns, Kyle and Ellen, for whom we’ve just had one final dinner together (literally within the hour). These two have served and served and served and I’ve yet to hear them complain. Part of the reason Canvas is so great, and is growing and is vibrant is because of these selfless people.

Our team, the “big” team. Robert, Natalie, me, Leah and Nathan. It’s funny to think back almost two years (yes, really almost two years). Before we arrived in country, we had spent a total of about two weeks together. We were strangers. And yet, here we are and look at all that’s happened since then.

    Kevin and Leah,

No time to rest, the summer season is upon you where you’ll have to entertain your harshest critics (your parents) for a month or so. Think ministering to unruly students is hard!
So, what did you have for dinner?

    God bless,
    Ezra
