This time tomorrow, Leah and I will be proud renters of our own place for the first time in England! We’ve been lucky enough to know of an organization called Together in Mission who has graciously been renting us the space above their offices for our first three months in Birmingham.

They have been instrumental in helping us get our bearings in this new country and have in the process given us the time necessary to make wisdom-filled plans for our personal residence (pictured here - the white one).

So tomorrow morning we will travel up to the letting agency to get our keys and then move our 6 bags of clothes and three guitars and a few dishes into this fully-furnished, semi-detached house. If you get our email updates, we’ll be sending around our new mailing address in the next update.

God is so good and he works everything out so well. This new step helps to make us really feel established and planted in Birmingham to do the work we are passionate about, the work that pulled us out of all that we thought we knew about our lives before God showed us more about the plans that he had for us.

We’ve updated our photo section in a major way today. We were seeing that many who receive our E*news click from within that email to get to our photos page and to be honest, we hadn’t spent the time on it that we needed to. So today we’ve really upgraded this page so that you can see more about this journey in picture form. And even more photos are on the way.

As a random note, if you would have told me in the past that some day I would be riding a double-decker bus to work every day, I would have laughed in your face. God has a way of surprising and pleasing us, doesn’t he?
