Ash Baptized at Canvas

At Canvas, we’ve been celebrating a guy named Ash (yes, most of the people who are baptized at Canvas are named Ash – go figure). Ash has been struggling through what it means to be a follower of Jesus and recently decided that he would like to take the next step and follow the example of Jesus in baptism.

Last night at Canvas, a few of us got together to worship, to hear more from the Bible about baptism, to take communion and to watch Ash’s big moment. People are still celebrating Ash’s decision and are excited to encourage him in the next steps of his constant journey.

We have to offer a heart-felt and enormous ‘thank you’ to our financial supporters for being faithful in their giving so that we can stay here and invest in Ash and those like him who are wondering about the deeper things of life. We cannot say it enough: thank you.
