About the Team

Here’s where you can meet our team. These are the people that we will work along-side for the next number of years. We are in great company, as you will see. Robert Braden, Team Leader

Robert

Robert’s life has been in preparation for this international campus role because he lived all over the world before enrolling in and graduating from Georgia Tech in 2004. While at Georgia Tech, Robert discovered the Christian Campus Fellowship (CCF) and became an active part of this ministry. After graduation, he was selected to serve as a CCF intern followed by two years as an associate campus minister. Always active in the local church, Robert’s experience in the church and at CCF has instilled in him a passion for campus ministry.

Natalie Braden

Natalie

Natalie graduated from Atlanta Christian College in 2004. She served at Southwest Christian Church as an intern for four years, working with youth programs for infants through college age. Natalie was a part of CMF’s REACH internship program to Ethiopia during summer 2002, which gave her a view into the rewarding possibilities of mission work. For the past two years, Natalie has served the Christian Campus Fellowship at Georgia Southern University, initially as an intern then as the Assistant Campus Minister. She has deep devotion and passion for college students, campus ministry, and missions. This passion led Natalie to join CMF and the forming Globalscope-Engand team.

Michael and Allison Thompson

Michael and Allison

Michael and Allison were both born and raised in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. They met during their freshman year at Georgia Tech where they both found themselves involved in CCF. Since that year, Michael and Allison have both been all about campus ministry, pouring their lives into CCF. What they experienced at CCF lead them to go to Puebla, Mexico to help start a campus ministry as exchange students and their passion for campus ministry grew. Through leadership and interning at CCF they have been preparing themselves for cross-cultural campus ministry. Michael and Allison got married on May 19th, 2007 and now they are living in Atlanta while they further prepare themselves for Globalscope England.

Nathan Jones

Nathan

Nathan has joined the Globalscope team in Birmingham, England. He graduated from Atlanta Christian College in the spring of 2007. While studying there, God affirmed the call on his life to enter into full-time ministry. After graduating from high school, Nathan spent 11 days on a short-term mission trip in Birmingham, England, where he gained a compassion for the British people. His love for ministry combined with his desire to share Christ with the people of England led him to a decision to be part of CMF’s Globalscope-England team. He has a growing passion for serving college students and an increasing interest in cross-cultural missions. Nathan looks forward to bringing students from the University of Birmingham into relationship with Jesus Christ.

Luke Batchelor

Luke

Luke comes from a Christian background all of his life. He attended Georgia Tech where he received a B.S. in Science, Technology, and Culture in May of 2006. During his time at Tech, he was heavily invested in Younglife and his campus ministry CCF. Through his experiences in these ministries, Luke began to realize a passion that he has for students, high school and college alike. After graduating he spent a year working for CCF on campus at Tech as a Freshman intern. As his intern year progressed Luke began to notice the subtle tuggings of God on his heart, pulling him towards England and the Globalscope mission in Birmingham.

Josh and Rebekah Holt

Originally from Vidalia, Georgia, Josh is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While at Georgia Tech, he was heavily involved with the leadership program of Christian Campus Fellowship. It was there that Josh developed a passion for college students. After four years there, he gained more ministry experience as an intern at the Georgia Southern Christian Campus Fellowship. Josh worked closely with Junior students, focusing on leadership through prayer. He was also very involved with men’s mentorship.

Jason Tatum

Jason

Jason, who has been known the world-over simply as “Tatum” since the 7th grade, is a native of the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. He is a veteran of many different ministries and organizations. He has been on Young Life’s Student Staff, spent years working with youth within church settings and also has had experience working with children, homeless, and working professionals in an urban environment. His experiences with campus ministry has left a deep and remarkable impression on him. He was in a place of leadership at Georgia Tech’s Christian Campus Fellowship for 4 years and is currently working for Bread Coffee House, a campus ministry at Emory University. He was also a member of the initial exchange student group that began the campus ministry “En Vivo” in Salamanca, Spain. His interests include reading, writing, drinking coffee, drinking beer, and being with close friends. Jason is hoping to arrive in Birmingham by January 2009.
