We’ve created a new video showing a few students from Canvas talking about all that Canvas means and is to them. We asked them questions like:
What is Canvas?
How did you first connect with Canvas?
Would things be the same without the Canvas House?
How have your perceptions of Christianity changed since getting involved with Canvas?
Their responses are humbling and exciting. God is definitely doing something special here in Birmingham. But why take our word for it? Watch and hear what they have to say for yourself.
CONSTANTjourney, like most sites currently around the web, utilizes a feature that sends out automatic updates around the internet. This is done using something called an RSS feed (RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication). When someone takes advantage of RSS feeds in something called a news/feed reader, they can receive our news and updates automatically without having to visit the site at all. They’re always up-to-date and informed. Automatically.
However, only 3% of computer users are familiar with how feeds work, and are using feed readers to get up-to-date information from their favorite sites. We don’t think the other 97% should be left out in the cold, so now you can subscribe to our feed with your email address, utilizing a service called FeedMyInbox. Here’s how you can start receiving the very lastest via email:
If you follow these steps (or use a feed reader already) and sign up for our CONSTANTjourney E*news, you’re well on your way to staying completely connected!
You can now better utilize your iPhone or iPod Touch for CONSTANTjourney.
CONSTANTjourney is now iPhone and iPod Touch enabled! If you own one of these devices, just browse to www.constantjourney.com in Safari and you’ll see what we’re talking about.
It seems that technology is changing our world dramatically these days. Two of those dramatic changes, in my opinion, are the iPhone and the iPod touch. Both are tremendous devices from Apple which are changing the way people communicate, connect and interact are are influencing a number of new devices from other companies.
We work very hard to make sure that those who care about this journey can get as much information as they’d like, in as many ways as possible. This is an incredibly important endeavor and we hope that some small thing like making our website ready to go for new technologies will help us over-communicate that importance and the differences that our friends and supporters make throughout the world.
