Introducing Clappy

Written by Kevin 1 Comment So Far

I’m thrilled to introduce you to the official unofficial Canvas mascot. This is Clappy. He, like Canvas, is going around, making the high-5 cool again (as if it ever weren’t).

Our proud mascot.

Our proud mascot.

Clappy has been around Selly Oak (our surrounding community) and around the university, at the sides of busy streets, and at local eateries making friends and distributing free high-5s. Way to go, Clappy. Way to go.

Canvas is a Real Place

Written by Kevin 1 Comment So Far

It’s official, Canvas is a real place. A real venue. A real destination. It’s true, we have a sign and everything. It’s hard to believe: first we had no building, then we had more building than we could have imagined, and now more and more it’s becoming known throughout the community. Simply astounding.

This is the sign outside of the Canvas House.

First Canvas Bible Study!

Written by Kevin No Comments Yet

It was an amazing night of live music, great food, and meaningful conversation. For the first time in Canvas history, we hosted a Bible study. Another first for Canvas: 100% of the people who came to the Canvas House that night, stayed afterward to hang out and have some fun at what is fast becoming a special destination for the student community.

For these and other photos, visit photos.constantjourney.com.

The team are so overjoyed and excited about starting this new chapter at Canvas and see an exciting future ahead! It was a night that was indeed more than we hoped for and are looking forward to making it a better and better way to take those who are interested in faith to new and deeper levels.
